Hello

I've always wanted to be a filmmaker and tell stories. I never thought this would be possible until I was about to turn 29 and realized the weight of regret would be too much to bear. Shortly after, I found myself applying and being accepted into film school. It was there I realized how vast and deep this medium can go. I wanted to push the boundaries on what is possible. 

 

Shortly after graduation I found myself working for NBC Universal on some television shows shot here in Chicago. I quickly realized this was not the direction I wanted to head so when the time came for me to part ways I did. I was unsure of how it would all work out but I trusted I would find my way.

I started a company with a few former classmates called DNA Collaborative, learned how to run a small business and got to work with some wonderful clients. I started working on a feature film called Water that was to be shot in Nigeria, but then got put on hold because of the pandemic and political strife. I'm currently working on getting two different features up and off the ground but the process can be slow when you are trying to make your mark.

Starting SoundLight Entertainment has been a dream of mine since 2015 but I was always afraid to really put myself out there, until now! I decided to create a company that is in line with my values. From how I like to work with and collaborate with others to what content I create. I decided I wanted to be free to create and work with anyone who shared a similar vision and wanted to create something new.
